On behalf of the entire dental team and staff at Orange County Clarity Dentistry, we'd like to take this opportunity to welcome you as our new customer.
We appreciate the trust you have placed on us and we will strive to provide the high quality of dental care that you expect.
Please come in 15 minutes before your appointment so you have time to complete your paperwork. You will be greeted and we will get you started on your new patient paperwork. We’re devoted to make your appointments as pleasant and enjoyable as possible. The dentist and our staff are always happy to answer any questions you may have regarding your first dentist visit.
By filling out your “registration form” now, you can save time in the office later. Please bring:
- A list of medications you are presently taking and related medical conditions.
- Your physician's contact information.
- If you have dental insurance, please bring any necessary information.
If you have any oral-dental health concerns, you can feel comfortable sharing them with us
Next, Dr. Bui, our dentist, will examine your teeth, gums, and mouth. Our dental team will take intra-oral periapical x-rays and/or extra-oral panoramic radiographs. Panoramic radiographs help us view un-erupted or impacted teeth, as well as sinus conditions, and can detect lesions or fractures in the jaw.
This initial comprehensive exam is a no-risk way to learn the status of your oral health.
Each new dental patient-dentist relationship often starts with an initial exam so we can understand your dental needs and concerns first, then develop your dental hygiene treatment to you (regular dental cleaning if you have healthy gum, or deep cleaning as treatment of active gum disease, or perio maintenance as 3-month dental cleaning to prevent recurrent gum disease, etc., for instance). This way, you’ll get the most out of your dental cleaning appointments, the time and attention you deserve.
The dentist will discuss with you the comprehensive dental treatment plan developed specifically for you and that is guided by 5 principles:
We will provide the expert guidance you deserve, you are encouraged to ask questions and you are the one who make educated final decision.
Your dental treatment plan is designed to prevent small issues from getting bigger and more expensive, so it will address the dental problems that are bothering you now and may also identify others that could impact your oral health in the long run.
We will answer any dental/financial questions or concerns you might have, including the payment options available and how your dental insurance works. We want to make sure you understand and feel comfortable with your recommended dental treatment.
You’re on your way to a healthier mouth.
